Planning

“Planning has a proven ability to influence events before they occur and is an indispensable contribution to unity of effort.”1

Effective plans convey the goals and objectives of the intended operation and the actions needed to achieve them.  Regardless of the type of client or organization we serve, the process of planning is just as important as the document that results from it.  All Clear EMG approaches the planning process by following standards set forth in the FEMA Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG-101), and incorporates principles from the National Response Framework (NRF), the National Incident Management System (NIMS), and the National Preparedness Guidelines.  Our mission is to provide the client with a plan whose foundation is based on the concept that successful operations occur when organizations know their roles, accept them, and understand how they fit into the overall plan.

Following FEMA and the aforementioned best practices, All Clear EMG uses an all-hazards approach to emergency planning.   An all-hazards approach addresses capabilities-based preparedness to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from terrorist attacks, major disasters, and other emergencies.  Planning projects begin with an assessment of needs and previously developed plans and procedures.  The planning process is a collaborative effort between the plan writers at All Clear EMG and the client in order to develop a plan that fits the individual needs of the client, incorporates national best practices, and follows local, State, and/or Federal guidelines.
