Position Title: Healthcare Coalition Coordinator and Planning Specialist

We are searching for a detail oriented, highly skilled, and motivated Healthcare Coalition Coordinator to join our growing team!  In addition to the Healthcare Coalition Coordinator role, a successful candidate will be able to support other All Clear projects and duties. 

All Clear Emergency Management Group, LLC, is an experienced consulting firm that provides an array of emergency management and conference management services. All Clear works with our clients to provide customized Assessments, Planning, Training, Exercises, and Conference Management services. Required Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in emergency management, healthcare, public health, communications, education, or a related field. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for formal education.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare emergency management, planning, and response. 
  3. Certification in Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) and experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating all types of HSEEP exercises. 
  4. Knowledge of healthcare coalitions and federal funding streams. 
  5. Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats. 
  6. Previous work with adult learners, including training development and facilitation. 
  7. Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications (or healthcare equivalents).
  8. Strong Microsoft Office skills – PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Preferred Experience: 

  1. Familiarity with the Northwest Colorado Region. 
  2. Previous experience with a healthcare coalition or in a consultant role. 
  3. Emergency operations plan development. 
  4. Master Exercise Practitioner or Certified Emergency Manager. 
  5. ICS 300 and 400. 
  6. Project management and coordination of grant funded projects including HPP and/or PHEP.
  7. Outreach experience in relationship and coalition-building.

Position Duties:

  • 50% - Support and coordination of the Northwest Colorado Regional Healthcare Coalition (NWRHCC).  Duties may include:
    • Support for Coalition, Steering Committee, and Work Group meetings that can include room scheduling, completing agendas and meeting minutes, ordering refreshments/meals, sending reminder emails, and preparing handouts. 
    • Deliverable-related training and event planning that can include venue selection/scheduling, event advertisement and flyers, registration, name tags, sign in sheets, registration, and ordering refreshments/meals. 
    • Coalition project support that can include assisting with completing and submitting deliverables, engaging stakeholders, participating in statewide coordination groups, preparing progress reports, completing Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliant After Action Reports/Improvement Plans (AAR/IP), creating and delivering surveys and/or questionnaires, and budget tracking and reports.
    • Travel will be required to four in-person coalition meetings as well as to six Healthcare Coalition Coordinator meetings.  All meetings take place within Colorado.  Travel expenses are covered at the standard GSA rate.      
  • 50% - All Clear Planning Specialist
    • Support for All Clear projects that may include:
      • Developing and conducting Assessments (e.g. risk assessments and hazard vulnerability analyses).
      • Emergency plan writing and review.    
      • Designing and conducting training programs (in-person and virtual).
      • Exercise design and facilitation.
      • Assist with conference management and planning efforts. 
    • Ability to meet frequently (in person and via teleconference) and communicate with a variety of levels of people and across disciplines.
    • Detail oriented project tracking of each assigned task. 
    • Developing professional reports and written documentation to support project deliverables. 
    • Ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality work product while meeting project budget limits.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects with different clients concurrently.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  1. Working from home in a dedicated, safe, work environment free from distractions. 
  2. Flexible working style with ability to adapt to changing priorities. 
  3. Self-directed work requiring limited oversight as well as work as part of a team. 
  4. Domestic travel (estimated 15-25%) which may include weekends.  Majority of travel will be within the State of Colorado with a few trips annually to other client sites and conferences. 
  5. Ability to work with clients in different North American time zones. 
  6. Occasionally required to work after normal work hours to attend events or meet deadlines.
  7. Requires sufficient hearing and speech ability to communicate verbally in response to inquiries, project requests, and to speak to large groups of people during informational or educational presentations.
  8. Requires visual and physical capabilities to work on computers and associated equipment for prolonged periods of time.
  9. Valid and unexpired State drivers’ license. 
  10. Clean driving record and able to produce a current clean driving record if offered the position.
